Going into the festival, I was unfamiliar with Lee Clow and his contributions so I entered his film screening with few expectations. After watching his new movie, “Here’s to the Crazy Ones”, I immediately gained admiration for him and the profound impact he left on the industry. Apple’s advertisements have always been special to me because of the way they take risks and stand out. When I found out Lee Clow was the visionary behind those groundbreaking campaigns I was completely immersed in his career. The fact he worked alongside Steve Jobs and knew him in the early days of Apple showed that he had wisdom and a deep understanding of pushing the boundaries and effective creativity. Getting an inside look in the mind of an artistic genius was the perfect way to end the week. I left the theater feeling eager to start my career journey.
